In this section we would like to introduce you to some  tourist itineraries in the Marche.  The Marche is a region that is rich in history and culture.  There are 234 museums, more than 300 Romanesque churches, 163 shrines in 14 dioceses, more than 70 historic centres, 7 nature reserves and 24 archeological sites, no less than 1,000 significant monuments, innumerable works of art, a hundred artistic cities in 246 municipalities.  Yet you still hear people say "The Marche have the good fortune to appear nonexistent" .  It is true. The cultural heritage is still little known and often not well developed.
